Wild adventures in Vác
More and more parents and educators adhere to the principle that the development of an environmentally friendly approach has to be started at an early age. We couldn’t agree more with them on this.
It is particularly important for children living and growing up in cities where there is less chance of observing their surrounding flora and fauna in their natural environment. The Csányi district Kisvác-Középváros kindergarten of Vác has won our partner, Duna-Dráva Cement Kft.’s Green Solution tender, which enabled them to create a nature trail where children can learn about their environment and get to know the endemic plant and animal species of the region. On the occasion of the Bird and Tree Day a fun program series was launched for kindergarten children which uses all available infrastructural resources in an imaginative way, in which DDC also participated.
The kindergarten’s project is a good example how can an existing infrastructural development gain exciting and continuously renewable goals and destiny on the long run with a little creativity and dedication.
During the project we supported Duna-Dráva Cement Kft.’s work with the organization of press and social media communication. We have been involved in the organization and implementation of their social responsibility program for many years.
