In 2018, the Hungarian GyártásTrend Magazin and the PPH Media announced the competition called Factory of the year the fourth time. Any domestic company could enter the contest, regardless of its size.

One of our old-standing client, Duna-Dráva Cement Kft. entered, and took part in the half a year-long competition period.

During the first part of the contest, companies had to send in application forms based on numerical data for each category they chose before. The professional jury made its decision and set up the final ranking after visiting each of the companies for an inside audit and site visit.

DDC entered the competition in several categories representing the company’s dedication, the effort for continuous development, its modernized zones and commitment towards its partners and customers. It is a decisive accolade and outstanding success for the company that they could return home with the first prize for the employee satisfaction category from the passing ceremony on 1 May.
