A three-dimensional printing technology was presented by the University of Pécs. Our PR agency contributed to the success of these events.

The people of Pécs had a chance to meet with brand-new possibilities and fields of the application of 3D printing in two different events. The PTE Road Show in Árkád shopping centre was a week-long exhibition of the university, where visitors could see a continuously operating 3D printer and several printed objects, such as medical tools, decorations and toys. Colleagues from our PR agency shared interesting details about the project and the device too. Moreover, visitors could take part in a game: if they filled a short quiz, they had a chance to win 3D printed figures.

The Pécs Chocolate Carnival in the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter was an excellent occasion to present the all-round use of possibilities of the 3D printer, next to the piles of special sweeties. In cooperation with the Faculty of Arts our PR agency showed how 3D printing can be used in the food industry and art, and also exhibited artworks of students of the faculty. Young artists made tile-shaped printed moulds which could be painted and filled with chocolate. During the event we raffled some printed “candies” among the visitors.
