PR in the woods of Somogy
The woodlands of Somogy County are moving into the downtown of Kaposvár and we will bring down the stars too. Our PR agency started off the cooperation with SEFAG Zrt.
SEFAG Zrt. is managing the state owned forests of Somogy County. They are a traditional, recurring client of our PR agency. The company has several tourist attractions besides their forestry facilities. Our job during the next year will be their promotion and increasing the number of visitors.
The campaign is focusing on three main elements: the three-star forest hotel named Hotel Kardosfa, the Zselic Star Park situated very next to the hotel and the House of Forests Visitor’s Centre in Kaposvár, which will open during this autumn, while the third one is an exhibition of interactive elements and a playhouse where children are mostly expected with their parents or teachers. This place gives them opportunity to discover wildlife and SEFAG’s activities while they are playing and having fun.
The most interesting part is the Star Park. It is situated in the heart of the protected natural area of the Zselic forests where light pollution is one of the lowest in Europe. Therefore this place offers unique opportunities to observe the sky. A professional astronomical telescope, guided night star tours and a meteorite exhibition are waiting for the visitors.
During the next year our PR agency will rebuild the somogyiturizmus.hu tourist information website, refresh the content and tdesign of brochures and other issues of SEFAG, and reshuffle the social media presence of the company. Furthermore our job will be to create online and print advertisements, organise events and compile attractive holiday packages. We will be responsible for a versatile, multi-channel campaign.
