Workshop Series for International Alumni Students at the University of Pécs
Our partner, the International Directorate of the University of Pécs, has long been dedicated not only to providing academic knowledge but also to fostering a genuine sense of community. A key priority is the integration and support of those arriving from abroad to pursue their studies.
Navigating the Hungarian labour market can be particularly challenging for international students, who often have limited opportunities to develop their self-awareness and personal branding. The university is committed to supporting them through practical and inspiring programmes that also strengthen their connection to their alma mater.
During the spring semester, a three-part series of English-language workshops has been launched to help students find their own path. The sessions focus on self-awareness, career development, and the conscious building of one’s personal brand. In addition to offering valuable insights, the events serve to deepen participants’ engagement with the university, encouraging long-term involvement with the alumni community.
The first two workshops were delivered by Dr. Gábor Balogh and Míra Mohr, both recognised experts with extensive experience in career counselling and personal development. The final session of the spring series will take place in May, and will specifically prepare students for entering the job market.
This initiative is implemented within the framework of the project RRF-2.1.2-21-2022-00018 – Procurement of Professional Services for the University of Pécs, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF).
