We have made a tourism development strategy for the city of Siófok during the last year. Now, we continued along this path and completed the “Where the Balaton Starts” identity.

 

The most important building block of our strategy is playfulness – we aimed to reach a vision where Siófok is a nice, happy, enjoyable place, where the people have fun, leave with good memories and want to come back. We based the identity around this principle while adapting to seemingly opposite expectations. We had to make an identity that is usable on the platforms of tourist communication with inviting forms and bright colors while also allowing the institutions of the city to join.

 

 


We developed a system of graphic elements, using the “Siófok, Where the Balaton Starts” logo, pictogram packs in various themes, and a set of bright, happy colors as building blocks. If you like the pictures below, you can see further elements of this brand identity on our Behance page.
