ART.Pécs: local diversity
In collaboration with the Municipality of Pécs, our DIGITAL division has developed a website that bridges the gap, showcasing the creations of almost 150 local artists.
The ArtPécs initiative aims to bring together and highlight visual and industrial artists who reside and create in Pécs or Baranya, while also providing support to the local art community.
Showcasing artists from Pécs and Baranya has become something of a tradition. The Pécs Gallery has been consistently hosting collaborative exhibitions since 1978, resulting in the publication of numerous catalogues and books. In its initial phase, the current art.pecs.hu website invited artists who took part in the "Condition Assessment | 2019" exhibition at the M21 Gallery in 2020. This platform is continuously growing with the materials they contribute, and other artists have the opportunity to participate based on the provided guidelines.
