For the second time, our agency is joining in the national campaign One Step Closer by Amnesty International Hungary launched in 2019.

The organization's campaign asks the companies that join the campaign to disclose the difference in hourly rate between women and men employees. According to data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office for 2019, men earned an average of HUF 68,000 gross more than their female colleagues in the first half of the year. Although there has been some improvement in wages, some studies suggest that at this rate, the pay gap could disappear by 2102. Many councils and companies have already joined the movement in its first year.

As part of the program, we are sharing our thoughts on International Women's Day.

Our agency has a higher proportion of female employees, with 17 women compared to 13 men. Their presence is essential and their work is just as important as that of their male colleagues. The results of FERLING Ltd. are average among the companies participating in the movement. Our aim is to contribute to reducing the pay gap between women and men, and we are striving to achieve better results in this area every year.
