Flora and fauna, folklore, local history and astronomy are the topics of the brand new educational website which has been developed by our PR agency on behalf of SEFAG Zrt., managing company of Somogy County’s state owned forests.

SEFAG Zrt. together with Virovitica-Podravina County in Croatia and the public institution responsible for the management of the region’s nature reserves realized a project supported by EU’s Interreg program. During the implementation developments has been made in Zselic Star Park, next to Ropoly Lake and in the Manor Park of the Croatian town Suhopolje. Besides the construction work the project included a digital educational site which provides information about natural and cultural values of the region.

The newly launched trilingual – Hungarian, Croatian and English – website covers nearly dozen topics from the wildlife of Drava river to the largest mammals of our forests, the folk architecture of the county and the light pollution. We could know for example why the greylag goose is called in Hungarian “summer goose” or why is bent the shaft of the Big Dipper – which’s Hungarian name refers to a wagon. After reading the richly illustrated informative texts we can test our fresh knowledge using a quiz. If somebody would just like to play he can try the “forest version” of more popular online games, including the recently world famous 2048.

Our PR agency was responsible for every tasks connected to the website development. We choose the topics, made research, wrote the texts and collected the images and our colleagues made the graphic design and coded the website.
