Green ideas in Baranya – new Green Solution projects are done
Applicants implemented new „green ideas” thanks to the support of Duna-Dráva Cement Ltd’s Green Solution for Sustainability tender.
The applicants from Drávaszabolcs, Siklós, and Pécs created community spaces for both kids and adults in the sake of environment-friendly education and sustainability.
Since 2017, It is the second time that Dráva Kincse Óvoda won support for the implementation of their environmental-friendly ideas. The project of 2018 is called „Az én házam! – Az én váram!”. It aimed to create an active-house for kids and is in harmony with their last project: „kölyÖKOpark” an eco-park for children.
Just like the kindergarten, the Táncsics Mihály High School, Elementary School and Basic Art School of Siklós focused on the opportunities of outdoor learning in their application. The „Tan-liget” project aims to use the area effectively and makes environment-friendly usage of the infrastructure.
The applicants from Pécs also focused on environmental education.
The „A Bártfa utcai tagóvoda gyermekiért” foundation’s „Mesekert” and the „Meszesért” foundation’s „Élő, Élhető udvar” applications both created a sustainable, environment-friendly and healthy setting for the kindergarteners and pupils.
The opening ceremonies were on the 18th and 19th of September. The schools, the foundations, and their maintainers, and representatives of DDC have all attended the events.
Our agency supported the project with press and media communication management. We are also taking part in the organization and execution of DDC's CSR program for years.
