Father’s Day in Pécs – free family afternoon at Hullámfürdő
In Hungary, we celebrate Father’s Day on the third Sunday of June, and this time we did it at the Hullámfürdő in Pécs.
The Family and Career Point of Pécs entrusted us with the organization of the event. Our goal was to raise awareness and express the importance of a father’s role in a family’s life.
During the day, people who previously registered could enter Hullámfürdő for free. The weather was not kind to us, but we didn’t let that ruin the day, we created the best atmosphere we could. After a short concert, the attending families had lots of playful tasks to try: some kids drew their father, others completed the father-child quiz. In the end, every child, who took part in the activities got an ice-cream, and every dad who did the same could go home with a „Best dad” diploma.
