The Community Foundation of Pécs hosted a live fundraising event
In May, the Community Foundation of Pécs hosted a fundraiser called „Live Broadcast” in café Reggeli.
The Live Broadcast is an adaptation of the worldwide successful event hosted by The Funding Network in London and got organized for the first time in Pécs after Budapest and Miskolc.
During the event, three spokespersons, each representing a local cause introduced themselves, and got 6 minutes each to present their ideas and what could they achieve with less and with more support. After the presentation, each of the representatives had 6 minutes to answer the questions of the audience. Soon after that, with the lead of the anchorman, the fundraising started in circles, separately for each project.
All in all, the 78 private individuals and the 17 organizations raised more than two and a half million Hungarian forint for the three local initiative (Festival of „Ooms and Dames” from Pécs, Élmény Tár -Adventure Garden, Rolling Basket).
