The greener, the better
It is always a pleasure to do something for a good cause, especially if it is something as important as environment protection. We are proud of how much change we have achieved with our Green Office program since its start in 2018.
The everyday life of an agency is eventful, that’s why it is an important result for us that being environmentally conscious is not just an empty phrase in our principles, but something that has true content and practical meaning.
Since we only have one home: Earth, it is our responsibility to protect it for future generations and for us as well. We believe that even with small changes, we can achieve significant improvements that make the working environment healthier for our colleagues and reduce the environmental impact of the agency.
During last year, the focus was on proper paper and energy usage, water consumption, waste management, environment-friendly office and cleaning products procurement and moreover, we even improved the quality of the air in the office. We switched to environment-friendly alternatives everywhere we could. Our colleagues use their own thermos rather than plastic cups for their coffee in the bakery on the corner, on Wednesdays we don’t eat meat (okay, not every time, but we are trying :) ) and we organized the recycle of the electrical waste of the agency. The key is somewhere between being carefree and serious; we want everyone to feel good at the office while getting rid of the habits that are harmful to our environment. Every month, the colleague who has done the most environment-friendly activity gets the Green Office award.
We can’t, and won’t stop now; during the next couple of months, the focus will be on the environment-friendly transportation and event organization methods.
